1 CORINTHIANS 2:16, “For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.”
The mind of Christ is an independent mind. An independent mind is a mind that is determined to find out the truth from God, not from man. Many who profess Christianity, when hardship comes, begin to instruct God in the way He should work in their situation. But faith is a lifestyle of trusting God, not ordering Him around. Those who have the mind of Christ show themselves to be under the check and conduct of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). To have the mind of Christ is to look at things the way Jesus sees them, knowing God’s opinion about yourself, others and your situation. You cannot see enough about life until the eyes of your faith are opened. We must fill our prayer with the Scripture to ensure that our will lines up with God’s will and intention for our lives.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, command unto my body, soul and spirit
watchfulness, faithfulness, the fruit of the Spirit and the mind of
Christ.
