I donated a kidney to one of my dear friends, @jojosvoice … I’ve known for months that this day was coming, but I don’t think anything could have prepared me for the flood of emotions and deep gratitude that I’ve experienced today. I may have “lost” a kidney, but I gained a whole new family.
I still am at a loss for words… this huge thing went down today… and even though I was in the center of it, I still can’t wrap my mind around it. All I can say right now is that God is real and he’s still working miracles. It takes real courage to submit to God’s plan for your life without question… ESPECIALLY when His plans involve you getting sliced open… this experience really stretched me on my journey of learning to love like Christ, and I couldn’t be more grateful for it”.
